9 Things I'm Loving This Fall (and think you might too)

It’s been a while since I’ve shared one of these “things I’m loving” types of posts but I’m still loving writing them just as much as I ever have. As much as I like sharing design tips and home decor with you, there is something so fun about sharing something a little more personal.

So while there are a few home decor items on this list there are also things that are just making my life feel a little extra good these days - like the cocktail I’ve been ordering on-repeat and the joggers I can’t stop wearing.

In case you missed the last couple of posts like this; check out: 7 Things I’m Loving This Winter and 7 Things I’m Loving This Summer.

So here we go…9 things I’m personally loving this fall (in no particular order)

As always, a quick note: items in this blog post may contain affiliate links. This does not cost you anything additional to order through these links but may provide me with a small commission which allows me to keep sharing these type of posts.

#1 all the comfy clothes

I know I said this list is in no particular order but am I surprised that this one landed at the top of the list? Not even a little bit. There is just something that feels so good about pulling out all of those cozy layers again. The sweaters, the sweatshirts, the socks! A couple weeks ago I got the perfect sweatsuit - its so comfy for lounging around the house and since it’s a matching set, it also looks pulled together enough for being out and about (at least for running those errands).

I got so excited about socks that I almost forgot to mention the slippers! I got some new slippers last year (which quickly went out of stock) so I was excited to see this year’s version come out - I’ve already ordered two pair. Check out the cozy slippers for yourself here.

#2 this lamp

I have been looking for the perfect lamp for my dining room for the longest time. I needed one that was a bit more narrow to fit on the antique mail sorter I have in this space. I wanted it to blend in with the already neutral decor I have while adding a bit more texture to the space. I didn’t want a bright light but just something to add a bit of cozy warmth to an otherwise often dark room. And after searching for what felt like forever…I finally found it.

Here it is….the perfect brass lamp!

#3 this yoga playlist

Not sure if you know this already about me - but I teach yoga. I will usually chat with students after class and while I love the occasional “I loved your class” comment. I promise that nothing makes me happier than when they say “I loved your playlist”.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I had not one but two students tell me this after class! When that happened, I decided to share it over on Instagram and was kind of amazed at how many people were into it so, I figured I would share it here too.

So here it is - a one hour flow playlist.

#4 these to help with focus

If there is one thing you should know about me, its probably that I generally have about 75 ideas running through my head at any given time. Blame it on being a multi-passionate entrepreneur, or on being creative, or on just for being someone with an incredibly active mind. I’m not sure. Most of time this works to my advantage (and honestly, makes me who I am) but there are times that I just need a little more focus. I mean, hello, those deadlines aren’t going to meet themselves.

So on those days that I really need a little extra focus I have been popping a couple of these focus gummies which contain a combination of brain-boosting functional mushrooms, essential nutrients, and B complex vitamins that all work together to improve focus.

#5 gilmore girls

I mean if you follow along with me on Instagram you already know this but there are few things I love more than a slow Sunday morning, snuggled up on the couch with Opie, with a cup of coffee, and Gilmore Girls playing. And while you might catch me watching the occasional Gilmore Girls espisode throughout the year - I always restart the series in the fall and fall in love with it all over again.

#6 these pans

Okay, so I’ll start with saying I have had my eye on these pans for years, like actual years. But never quite decided to make the investment. Instead I bought other non-toxic pans that honestly I thought I really liked until I got my hands on these. To be clear, there was nothing necessarily wrong with my other pans but these are a definite upgrade - like I am just enjoying cooking in them more kind of upgrade.

These pans are non-toxic, non-stick (like nothing is sticking - not even eggs), plus they’re beautiful! Check them out here.

#7 these jeans

I have been on a mission this year to upgrade my jeans. I’ve been wearing Express jeans for years and years and while I still wear them and love them, I was also looking for some new jeans that fit my body a bit better and would hold up longer over time. And I think, I might have found them. I finally got my hands on these jeans this fall and haven’t looked back. I got both a super classic (and comfortable) pair and the perfect vintage black jeans.

#8 cocktails

Fun fact: the only tangible New Year’s resolution or goal that I set this year was to learn how to make one new cocktail per month. Sure, I have plenty of other things I’m working towards and doing but like I said this was the one thing that was really tangible.

For a while now, I’ve wanted to know how to make certain cocktails and to slowly fill up my bar cart with all kinds of fun things. So this felt like the perfect way to make both of those things happen - while sipping on delicious cocktails.

I definitely got off to a slow start for sure but this summer I did nearly perfect a mojito. Big thanks to my mint plant that kept growing well into September! My current obsession is a Bees Knees and it is on my list to learn how to make this month.

#9 this vintage speaker

So I technically got this speaker this spring but after selling out quickly, its finally back in-stock so I wanted to be sure to include it on the fall list.

This vintage styled bluetooth speaker was the perfect addition to my kitchen shelves. There is just something about turning on some classic music (Etta James is currently - and always - heavily in my cooking playlist rotation) while making dinner or those cocktails (see #8 on the list). Plus, the wood finish and the vintage style of this speaker feel right at home in my kitchen.
