The 5 Things I’m Loving this week (as an Interior Designer)
Vol. 1
Alternate Title: I scoured the internet so you don’t have to
When I say half my job is literally online shopping, I mean it.
Seriously, I spend hours (and hours) each week searching online for the perfect sofa, rug, tile, you name it, for clients. I basically weed through all the things to find the good things.
And when this idea for a new email series popped into my head a few months ago, I couldn't stop thinking about it - in a “why haven't I been doing this all along" kind of way.
So, what is it and what can you expect?
Well honestly, a little of this, a little of that. But basically, five things that I've found and am loving each week. Some furniture, some decor, some finishes. Some things might be splurgy, some will not be at all. I'll also share paint colors, design ideas, and other inspiration that I'm loving that week.
So let’s get into it, Vol. 1 of The 5 Things I’m Loving this Week (as an Interior Designer)
This chair reminds me of every couch I sat on in the 80's but in the BEST possible way. I think this is such a fun accent chair and this fabric is available as an option on a few other chair shapes/styles.
Okay, there is just something about the combination of wood and ratan on this lamp. Just be sure to add a warm light bulb. Please use a warm light bulb none of this cool or daylight business, please. But technically either way, this lamp would add so much warmth and texture to any room.
Alright so this one is a total splurge but it was probably the first item I thought of when I thought of this new series. Like, I LOVE this sink so much. It also comes in different colors and shapes, but we can probably agree that the dark green is the best, right?
This is another one that I had on my mind as soon as I thought of this series. Warm wood, meet vintage vibes - I'm totally in! There is also a table lamp in this collection that is equally as good.
And last, but certainly not least, this rug just feels like a whole vibe. It definitely gives mid-century vibes in a subtle way that just feels timeless. Plus, it’s wool which means it should hold up over time too. Plus, it’s green. I mean, do I need to go on?
