The 5 Things I’m Loving this week (as an Interior Designer)

Vol. 3

Alternate Title: I scoured the internet so you don’t have to

This morning I let Opie out and almost couldn't believe what I heard.

Birds. Chirping. Like, spring is actually on the way. Even here in the Minnesota Northwoods.

I stood outside for a while just listening to them and immediately starting daydreaming about the actual life that will soon come back to my (currently very dreary) backyard.

Mornings with coffee on the back porch, my potted herb garden, the nest of bunnies that show up each spring, reading a book under the covered porch on a rainy day, backyard cocktails with friends.

And while we're not quite there yet, I've also been daydreaming about ways to bring little touches of spring into my house, while I wait just a little longer.

This week's list of things I'm loving definitely proves that. It's got subtle spring vibes and even a touch of whimsy.

So with that in mind, here it is - Vol. 3 of The 5 Things I’m Loving this Week (as an Interior Designer)

The way I love this lamp though. The color. The scalloped shade. It’s just too good.

I think I will forever be obsessed with these chairs. I have used these swivel chairs (in multiple fabrics) over and over in client projects. They work in almost any space and are seriously comfy. Plus, they spin, so what’s not to love!

I am always looking for ways to make a space be as functional as possible, while also looking good. And this retractable clothesline feels like the perfect balance of functionality and good-looks.

I can’t get enough of these moody tones in this rug. Especially paired with the subtle floral pattern. I’m on the search for a new rug for my dining room and this one is high on the list of contenders.

This new tile collection is just so good. The pop of color. The vintage feel of the patterns and raw edges. I’ll just be over here manifesting a client project that needs these tiles…okay?
